Erica Honey
Erica has over 20 years of experience leading and managing in the animal care and veterinary industries. She has worked in the private and public sectors, beginning as a veterinary nurse in general practice and then emergency and critical care nursing. She then managed a large team in Western Australia’s teaching veterinary hospital.
Erica has a masters in emergency management and qualifications in policy, honours research, biomedical science and veterinary nursing.
Passionate about learning and sharing knowledge, Erica is currently in her final 6 months of her double Master of Business Administration and Human Resource Management (People and Culture) journey.
She is dedicated to growing people's skillsets, leadership, and advancing animal emergency management for resilient communities through her consulting business. Erica also lecturers in Healthcare Management.
In her spare time, she volunteers with the Cockburn State Emergency Service.
