The Global Animals in Disasters Management Conference (GADMC), hosted by Animal Evac New Zealand and sponsored this year by VIER PFOTEN (Four Paws) International is one of the most important events of the year for disaster management experts from all over the world.
The conference provides a platform for professionals to discuss new ways to protect animals from disasters, and this year’s winners of the GADMC Awards showcase the very best and brightest in the field.
GADMC2023 was a great success with post-session evaluations consistently rating GADMC as excellent and that they would definitely recommend the conference to others.
Thanks to the support of our sponsors Four Paws International, American Veterinary Medical Foundation, International Fund for Animal Welfare, Humane Society International, TLAER and the International Public Safety Qualifications Authority, the global event was free to present, attend and view. With such a diverse range of speakers, we also successfully trialed multi-lingual closed captions using the Zoom platform to make the conference even more accessible.
Recordings are now being edited and should be available in the next few weeks.
