Diego Hernandez is a Veterinary Doctor and specialist in animal health and marketing management. He holds Master's degrees in Public Health (Disaster Management) and Education. As a Research Professor at UNIAGRARIA Colombia, he contributes to groundbreaking research. Diego is also a volunteer and specialist in search and rescue, serving with the Colombian Red Cross and instructing K9 search and rescue operations.
SAR dogs: Heroes or Martyrs?
SAR dogs are often considered heroes and guardian angels, but some of them also fall like martyrs in the field, while trying to rescue human victims. This presentation will explore the ideal conditions for these animals to thrive, with the helo of a a few anecdotes.
